The quality on this nutcracker is way better than I expected, the painting is intricate and well placed, the embellishments are a nice and well attached. The figure is 12 inches tall from the bottom of the base to the tip of the acorn on the top of the hat. The jaw is functional/movable (as you would expect). This is a charming figure and all & all well done, a welcome addition to most any indoor display of Christmas decorations.
